Vacheron Constantin, a subsidiary of the Swiss luxury conglomerate Richemont, has reopened the doors of its Parisian flagship at 2 rue de la Paix, just a few steps from Place Vendome.
Marking the Swiss maison's 270th anniversary, the quintessential boutique reopens after major expansion of tripling its size and renovation to make it more comfortable and welcoming.
Spanning two-storeys, the new space is imbued with the Maison's values and aesthetic codes, showcasing it's expertise, its history and its artistic and cultural sensibility. It features a permanent watchmaker for maintenance, repair and servicing of Vacheron Constantin watches.
The facade of the boutique has been transformed to create a contemporary allure defined by transparency and light while the ground floor is dedicated to the Maison's latest references and classic collections.
The interiors feature stained-glass windows and straw marquetry, Parisian brasserie-style space on the ground floor and upstairs, intimate lounges and a private dining room for privileged visitors, as well as a staircase in the form of Vacheron Constantin's emblem the Maltese Cross.
To underline the importance of the reopening, Vacheron Constantin has unveiled a new single-piece edition of rare complexity: Les Cabinotiers Temporis Duo Grand Complication Openface. Combining a minute repeater, a split-seconds chronograph and a tourbillon regulator, the watch epitomises it's quest for mechanical excellence and devotion to aesthetics and finishing.
Vacheron Constantin will host an ongoing series of temporary art exhibitions in collaboration with the Parisian gallery Amelie Maison d'Art.
