Burberry appoints Regional Presidents to its Executive Committee

British luxury fashion house Burberry has announced the appointment of four regional presidents to the company's Executive Committee effective immediately.

The four appointees Claudia Kim, President Asia Pacific; Frank van Loon, President EMEIA; Josie Zhang, President Greater China; and Laura Dubin-Wander, President Americas will join the Committee and report to Burberry Chief Executive Officer Joshua Schulman.

'Today's announcement recognizes the important role Claudia, Frank, Josie and Laura have each had in strengthening our businesses globally and putting the voice of the customer at the heart of every decision we make. Their market insights and deep customer knowledge are invaluable, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with them to drive Burberry Forward,' Burberry CEO, Joshua Schulman said in a press release.

In their new roles, Burberry's regional presidents will continue to lead their respective regions while participating in Executive Committee decisions, strategy and operations.

- Claudia Kim joined Burberry in 2018, and will lead it's business in Asia Pacific. Prior to Burberry, she was General Manager at Bluebell Korea where she managed a portfolio of luxury fashion group brands within LVMH.
- Frank van Loon joined Burberry in 2020, and will lead it's business in EMEIA. Prior to Burberry, he was VP EMEIA at Tom Ford and also held senior leadership roles at Brunello Cucinelli.
- Josie Zhang joined Burberry in 2016, and will lead it's business in Greater China. Prior to Burberry, she served as Regional Director at Christian Dior Couture.
- Laura Dubin-Wander joined Burberry in 2024, and will lead it's business in the Americas. Prior to Burberry, she was the CEO of OTB Designer Brands, Americas and has also held senior leadership roles at Coach and Christian Dior Couture.

The appointments follows Burberry's decision to remove its vacant Chief Commercial Officer position and reflect it's commitment to aligning leadership and decision-making more closely with the customer.
